Twenty years ago, a group of friends, passionate about sailing, decided to transform their love for the sea into the company Aladar Sail Srl. Paolo Bigliazzi, CEO and partner, tells us what characterizes this prestigious charter company, distributed exclusively by the tour operator Private Travel.

Hi Paolo, how was the Aladar Sail project born?
Our business started in 2003 with 2 boats docked at the Marina di Scarlino. We immediately believed in the success of the project, indeed. In addition, the location is strategic: both Corsica and Elba Island are a few miles away, for example.

Today our fleet is made of 40 boats, 20 of which are here while the others are in our bases located in Sardinia and Campania. Of these, two-thirds are monohulls (Oceanis, Dufour, Jeanneau, Bavaria, Hanse) and a third are catamarans (Bali, Nautitech, Fountaine Pajot). The latter are real villas on the water, particularly appreciated by families looking for maximum comfort. We take great care of our fleet. We purchased 30 boats from 2019 to today. The latest boats bought are Bali 4.6, Bali 4.2, Dufour 530, Dufour 470, Dufour 430, Oceanis 46.1, Oceanis 51.1.
Our staff is made of experts, and we have 15 highly competent permanent employees.

We work exclusively with the tour operator Private Travel. This one takes care of every aspect of the holiday for the clients. Organization of tastings and cultural tours, transfers from and to the airport, selection of chefs and hostesses, support in identifying the most suitable skipper and much more. Everything necessary to ensure a perfect, relaxing holiday is provided!

What services does Aladar Sail offer?
In addition to the rental, we also take care of the sale and maintenance. Many customers, after having bought a boat with us, ask us to manage it.

All our boats are equipped with the necessary. They have photovoltaic panels to be energetically independent as much as possible. In addition, in over half of the fleet on board there is a powerful 200-liter desalinator per hour, which allows the clients to stay offshore for up to two weeks. These precautions are important today more than ever. Considering the lack of berths available in summer, it is important to be independent, indeed.

Our collaborators are available 24/7. We have a dinghy in all our bases ready to quickly intervene in all circumstances, and we provide telephone assistance as well.
