Danilo Ceccarelli, whose family firm manages this enterprise, tells us why Cala Felice is a one-of-a-kind venue.

Hi Danilo, could you please talk us about Cala Felice?
People wish to reserve a beach umbrella at Cala Felice to spend a beautiful day in a relaxing and classy place. We are based within the Parco delle Cale, an unspoiled area of the Tuscan coast that includes the bays Cala Violina, Martina, and Civetta.

The venue is composed of a restaurant, panoramic terraces, and a beach area. We are one of the few clubs within Tuscany Maremma offering all these services in addition to the chance to enjoy dancing nights both indoor and outdoor.

Starting from June, we install 20 beach umbrellas: 10 in the sand plus 10 on the closest terrace. Each umbrella has two sunbeds. Our clients appreciate the crystal clear sea, the privacy, as well as our tasty dishes and cocktails. The package includes Wi-Fi access, hot showers, changing room, and beach towels. You can choose to have lunch at the restaurant or to order something from the bar.

In spring and summer, the restaurant is open both for lunch and for dinner. I always say we are an excellent “seaside trattoria” with a more sophisticated menu for dinner. Our offer is like a “passport of different flavours from the world”. We try to gift our clients with a true gastronomic experience. To do so, we select only high-quality ingredients, we use modern cooking techniques, and we let traditional receipts inspire us. Moreover, we work with prestigious wineries to propose special wine tasting nights.
Not to mention the amazing private events, such as weddings, that we can host and our popular summer nights.

My sons Giacomo and Francesco are the Artistic Directors. They look for new trends to realize original events. Cala Felice’s nights contribute to the promotion of Tuscany Maremma.

Starting from the end of May, every Friday it’s time for the “Aperichic”. This is a rich apéritif accompanied by live music and 70s-80s revival on the Chiringuito terrace, while the DJ set takes place in the beach club. The areas are differentiated to offer the perfect night to different targets.

On summer Tuesdays we host “Famous”, the night dedicated to hip-hop, reggaeton, and trap music lovers. The other trendy event we invented is “Miami Sunday”: people dance on the beach until the sunset. In addition, on bank holidays we always organize ad hoc events. Our events are refined and controlled. Those who want to participate must book on our website and pay the accreditation online, as for concerts.

Getting married in Cala Felice is a dream for several couples…
Ours is a charming venue. It is perfect to host every kind of private event. Our capacity is between 80 and 120 persons. You can even reserve the club for exclusive use. Ours is a 360° service. Newly-weds should only take care of the wedding cake and of the flower setting. Of course, if they wish, we can suggest trustworthy suppliers.

In Cala Felice you can officially get married and have a civil ceremony. Celebrating a wedding with the sound of the waves as background and party under a sky full of stars is a breathtaking experience.
